Expensive Urine

The first time a doctor said to me “taking vitamins just gives you expensive urine”, I did not have an answer.  After thinking about it, I believe the correct response would be “Well doctor, if you prescribe me some pharmaceuticals, then I will then have really expensive urine.” And, the next time that a doctor said that to me, I gave that answer (in a bit more diplomatic terms).

So the implication of “expensive urine” is that the vitamins do you no good. I know from personal experience that they do you a lot of good. It is like saying your car has expensive exaust when you burn gasoline with it. Yes, all systems expel the waste products after the substance has done its job and is used up, whether it be vitamins, pharmaceuticals, food or gasoline.

So, don’t fall for this nonsense.
